Katarina had fall break last week and we took a few days off, first we went to Jamestown in the
Gold Country spend our first night in a very nice Hotel their, the next day we went up the old 49
Highway to Columbia State Park where the Kids and Jim paned for gold and Katarina and Thomas where very lucky that day :) after that we check out the town which has not changed much since 1849 following that, we took our time through all these very cute little towns along the way and ended up in a town called Volcano their we visited a cavern which was just amazing.
Back on the Highway we just drove on the 88 through some of the most beautiful countrysides,
through some Meadows filled with Aspen turning their colours to a beautiful orange/red, until we where in South Lake Tahoe where we stayed 4 more days !!!
We even walked into some wonderful friends Ginger and her Family, their stayed at a Hotel across the Street from ours, that was quiet a surprise for all of us !!
Even Katarina and Aiden had such a good time togehter, their had a lot to talk about since we
Katarina and her new little friend, to be a kid again :) their had just so much fun !!!
at the end it started to drizzle a little bit, but even that was great...
Their even had a Festival for the Kokanee Salmon which happened to be spawning it was like watching National Geographic right in front of us. 
Jim was dreaming of concurring the Rubicon Trail, sorry Jim but not in this car !!!
On our way home we took the 395 and stopped at the Victoria Lake.
